For many in West Africa, simply having access to clean and safe water will immediately improve and inspire their lives. In the spirit of giving and empowering others to live better lives, Andrew and Peggy Cherng of Panda Restaurants, donated five wells to Wells Bring Hope in January 2011.
Effective, September, 2011, they are continuing their commitment by inspiring all Panda Associates to raise money to drill wells. As a way to demonstrate their serious commitment to this cause, the Cherngs will very generously match all donations, dollar for dollar. If a group of Panda Associates raises enough for one well, that well will be matched, resulting in two wells drilled; two rural villages of about 400-500 people each will be helped by your efforts.
For Panda Associates, the vision for this giving is To Transform Lives Through Safe Water. Giving people clean drinking water seamlessly supports and brings into action Panda’s mission of delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences by “building an organization where people are inspired to better their lives.”
We have established this Panda Restaurants’ Water Circle to implement our Giving Value and we reach out to all Panda Associates to support it. You can donate directly through this Water Circle or, even more powerfully, establish your own Water Circle within Panda’s Water Circle.
