What is a Wells Bring Hope “Water Circle” and how do I start one?
- Wells Bring Hope has created "Water Circles" as a way for friends/family, a class or school to come together for the purpose of funding all or part of a well.
- Do you want to set a goal and if so, how much? If you want to fund one well, you will need to raise $5,600. A specific goal isn’t necessary, but it can help to let people know what you’re striving for.
- Give your “Water Circle” a name that will distinguish it from others—e.g., “Karen Smith’s “Water Circle” or “The Anderson’s Water Circle.”.
- Your“ Water Circle” will have a dedicated page where you can write a little about you and why you started your “Water Circle,” what you’re doing to raise money, events you’re planning to have, You can also post a picture.
- A “Water Circle” can be created in honor of or in memory of a friend or loved one—celebrating a birthday, anniversary, wedding, graduation, bar/bat mitvah, Mother’s Day/Father’s Day . Your friends can even set up a recurring donation, annually on a day of significance.
- When someone donates to your “Water Circle" on our website, they there is a drop-down menu listing your "Water Circle" under "Program Designation" and that money will be credited to your campaign.
