From its founding and until August 30, 2010, Wells Bring Hope had a fiscal sponsor, the Pacific Institute, through which all donations were received. On August 30, 2010, and effective July 27, 2010, Wells Bring Hope received tax exempt status, becoming a 501(c)(3), EIN #27-3123341, making all contributions tax deductible according to the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code.
