START A “WATER CIRCLE”

What is a Wells Bring Hope “Water Circle” and how do I start one?
  • Wells Bring Hope has created a way for friends/family to come together for the purpose of funding all or part of a well.  One or more people can decide that they want to start their own “Water Circle.”

  • One of the first steps to consider is: Do you want to set a goal and if so, how much money does your “Water Circle” want to raise?   You will need to raise $6,100 for a well. A specific goal isn’t necessary, but sometimes it helps to let people know what you’re striving for.

  • Then give your “Water Circle” a name so that your friends will be able to identify yours from others—e.g., “Carol Ann’s “Water Circle” or “The Anderson’s Water Circle” or whatever unique name you’d like to give it.

  • All “Water Circles” will have a dedicated page on our website where you can write about why you started your “Water Circle,” what you’re doing to raise money, events that you’re planning to have, ways to contribute, in short, anything you want to write about.  It can also include pictures of your group, a loved one, or whatever you choose to put up on your page.

  • A “Water Circle” can be created in honor of a friend or  loved one—celebrating a birthday, anniversary, wedding, graduation, bar/bat mitvah, Mother’s Day/Father’s Day or in memory of a friend or loved one.  It can even be a recurring donation, annually, on a day of significance.

  • Another good feature: Donations to your “Water Circle” can be managed easily via our website.  When donating via credit card, (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) donors can indicate whether the gift is on behalf of, in memory of, or in honor of your "Water Circle" and they can write a tribute paragraph too. All of the donation information will be forwarded to the administrator of your “Water Circle.”  It will also tell people where to send a check.
