We are an action-oriented, dedicated group of people, committed to bringing safe water to West Africa. In the first 10 months, we raised enough money for 10 wells.
 

We’ve partnered with an outstanding NGO, World Vision, whose commitment, dedication and experience is respected worldwide. World Vision doesn’t just a drill well and walk away—it is committed to working with villagers for a minimum of 10 years.  After a well is drilled, World Vision continues to help the villagers, providing much needed hygiene and sanitation education and infrastructure, micro-financing, and more.  The village receives ongoing support for their health and quality of life.
 

In January, 2009, a group of Salon Forum women visited villages in Niger, at our own expense, to get a clearer understanding of the hardships of village life and how clean water can make a difference.  We had an opportunity to talk with many women and came away with an even stronger commitment to our work.
 

We have an in-depth understanding of the World Vision operation in Niger and have developed a close working relationship with their team.
